Cold Craving Guide at LaLaport BBCC Features Icy Treats and Desserts
LaLaport BBCC has launched its Cold Craving Guide, a curated collection of icy treats and desserts to help shoppers beat the heat. The guide spotlights four Ground Floor outlets serving everything from premium Japanese tea ice cream to alcohol-infused creations and artisanal kakigori.
Matcha Eight
Matcha Eight operates from Ground Floor unit G-68 as Malaysia's first premium Japanese tea ice cream artisan. The shop crafts matcha ice cream using single-origin tea powder sourced from Wazuka, Kyoto, alongside artisanal sencha and hojicha flavours. All products emphasise natural ingredients from Kyoto. Sakanoue Cafe
Sakanoue Cafe serves beautifully crafted kakigori at Ground Floor unit G-74. The cafe's shaved ice desserts come topped with fresh cream and fruit, including strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries, with playful panda face decorations made from chocolate. The brand previously drew four-hour queues at its Tokyo outlets before arriving at LaLaport BBCC.
Ben Gong's Tea
Ben Gong's Tea offers a soft, refreshing kakigori designed for sharing with friends at Ground Floor unit G-71. The dessert features green matcha sticks, yellow fruit pieces, white cream dollops, and colourful toppings.
LaLapop by Frozen
LaLapop by Frozen serves alcohol-infused ice cream creations from Ground Floor unit G-70. The menu includes a sake-to-super-gao matcha flavour, alongside waffles topped with chocolate and vanilla ice cream, dusted with powdered sugar and served with a syringe-style dispenser for toppings.
