Bon Odori 2026, Kuala Lumpur's biggest Japanese summer festival, takes place at LaLaport BBCC on 1-2 August and 8-9 August 2026. Getting to the mall at Bukit Bintang City Centre is straightforward by rail, bus, free shuttle, or car.
Getting There by Rail
The fastest rail option is the KL Monorail or LRT Ampang and Sri Petaling Lines to Hang Tuah Station, which connects directly to LaLaport BBCC via a covered linkway. The walk from the station to the mall takes approximately three minutes. For passengers on the MRT Kajang Line, alight at Bukit Bintang Interchange Station and transfer to the Monorail to reach Hang Tuah Station.
Getting There by Bus
RapidKL operates several bus routes with stops near LaLaport BBCC, including routes 400, 420, 450, 580, and 590. These routes connect Damai Perdana, Hentian Taman Dagang, Hentian Kajang, Desa Petaling, and Bandar Sungai Long to Hab Pasar Seni and Menara Maybank at Pudu. The nearest bus stops are KL1772 at Stesen LRT and Monorail Hang Tuah, and KL866 at Furama Bukit Bintang. Driving and Parking at LaLaport BBCC

The mall offers free parking for the first three hours upon entry, with subsequent hours chargeable. Parking is also free after 5 PM, valid until 11:59 PM on the same day. Motorcycle and bike parking costs RM2 per entry for all-day parking. Grab and Lalamove drop-off and pick-up zones are located inside the mall entrance area.
Free Shuttle Service via Boleh Boleh Ride
During Bon Odori 2026, the Boleh Boleh Ride service provides free on-demand shuttle rides in partnership with Mobi Community Mobility. The shuttle operates from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on all four event days: 1-2 August and 8-9 August 2026. Riders must download and register for free on the Mobi app to claim rides.
