The Heritage Collection Launches at LaLaport BBCC with Free Admission
The Heritage Collection has officially launched at Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport in Bukit Bintang City Centre. The exhibition brings together traditional textiles, art, and contemporary expression, and is open to the public with free admission from 16 to 30 September 2026, daily from 12PM to 10PM.
The showcase takes place at the Central Rooftop Garden on Level 4, unit L4-04D, offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in a curated display of cultural artistry.
Traditional Outfits and Artworks on Display
The collection features ornate traditional South Asian-style outfits, including a maroon patterned veil paired with a peach ensemble and gold headwear. Another display highlights a pink veil with gold jewellery and a decorative belt, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship of heritage textiles.
Alongside the garments, the exhibition presents a range of colorful floral and abstract artworks displayed on easels and walls. Visitors can view these pieces in a relaxed gallery setting, with some works available for close inspection.
The Heritage Collection is free to attend, and no tickets are required. Guests can explore the exhibition at their own pace throughout the two-week run.
