LaLaport Coffee Festival 2026

LaLaport Coffee Festival 2026 returns to LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre from 14 to 16 August 2026, running daily from 10AM to 10PM at the Main Atrium on Ground Floor. The three-day event features specialty coffee, guest barista takeovers, hands-on workshops, exclusive festival experiences, and shopping rewards. Organisers ad-nology and Barista Guild Asia are backing the festival, which also hosts the Malaysia Young Barista Competition.

60 Plus Booths and 9 Competing Baristas

The festival brings together 60-plus coffee and lifestyle booths across three days of coffee discovery. Nine young Malaysian baristas will compete in the Malaysia Young Barista Championship at the event. The festival highlights Arabica coffee beans sourced from Ethiopia alongside brewing equipment and roasted coffee showcases.

Festival activities at the Main Atrium on Ground Floor include live latte art demonstrations and espresso extraction showcases. An inflatable mascot character will roam the atrium throughout the three-day event. The ground floor space transforms into a coffee discovery zone for visitors exploring the festival.

Malaysia Young Barista Championship details

The Malaysia Young Barista Championship, sanctioned by ACTS29 and supported by Cluster Coffee, gives young aspiring baristas a platform to showcase skills, build confidence, exchange knowledge, and gain exposure into the wider coffee industry. The competition forms a central feature of the LaLaport Coffee Festival programme.

Malaysia 2026 Young Barista Championship competitors

Nine baristas will compete in the Malaysia 2026 Young Barista Championship. Confirmed competitors include Muhammad Mujahid Bin Zamri from Pucks Coffee, Allison Chong Szumin from L'Éden KL, Jasmine Chia Jie Yu from Nonagon Roastery, Saiful Fariduddin Bin Saifulnizam from Brick House Group, and Lydia Koon Li Wen competing as an independent entrant.
