LaLaport Coffee Festival 2026 Returns with 70+ Brands and Barista Championship
LaLaport Coffee Festival 2026 takes over the Ground Floor of LaLaport BBCC from 14 to 16 August 2026, running daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The three-day event brings together over 70 coffee and lifestyle booths, interactive workshops, specialty coffee and food, exclusive merchandise, and the Malaysia Young Barista Championship 2026.
Festival-goers can explore coffee from origins including Ethiopia (Yirgacheffe), Indonesia (Sumatra), Colombia (Supremo), Japan (Kyoto), and Brazil (Cerrado). The lineup features competitions, hands-on workshops, and a marketplace of coffee and lifestyle brands for both casual drinkers and dedicated enthusiasts.
Baristas Pour and Brew at the Festival Floor
Attendees can watch baristas craft specialty beverages live across the festival grounds, with pour-over setups and espresso demonstrations showcasing brewing techniques from around the world. The festival floor will feature brewers using equipment such as V60 drippers and milk frothing tools to prepare fresh cups for visitors.
Malaysia Young Barista Championship 2026
The Malaysia Young Barista Championship 2026 will see the nation's best young baristas compete for a chance to represent Malaysia on the international stage. The competition forms a centrepiece of the LaLaport Coffee Festival, giving visitors a front-row view of emerging talent in the local coffee scene.
