For a quick and satisfying chicken rice fix at Lalaport, this outlet offers decent service and overall staff attentiveness. However, a notable drawback was the absence of roasted chicken on the menu during my visit. While the available options delivered a decent, reliable flavour, the lack of this popular choice was disappointing.
Also, their lady fingers used in their Asam Fish were old. One chew and you know. Please improve this

I love the way you can customise your meals, and the food is always delicious! There are plenty of options to choose from - they serve a lot more than chicken & rice... 😄

We ordered the "deal for two" at Chicken Rice attracted by the picture showing a whole roasted chicken and another 1/4 chicken of a different flavor. However, when the meal was delivered, both chickens were only 1/4 portions.
When we raised this with the supervisor/reception, she pointed out that the description mentions 1/4 portions and insisted we should have read it carefully before ordering. I expressed that this felt misleading and unfair, but she responded coldly, suggesting we complain to the group company, without offering any apology or empathy.
This lack of honesty and poor customer service is quite disappointing, especially in an Islamic country that upholds the principle of khidmah (service with sincerity and respect). I hope Chicken Rice eviews its marketing and trains staff to handle customers with more respect and transparency

The atmosphere in the restaurant was good and the employees were friendly but there were some things in my experience that could have been better. First there were no utensils on the table so we had to get them from another empty table also they use robots to deliver the food which is pretty cool and nice but the problem is our robot stopped a little farther from our table so we had to get out of our seats to get the food which is probably a good thing if that is their business model of making their customers self serve but all in all it is okay with just these little nitty bitty fixes 🙂 Also don’t expect the portions to be filling if you are really hungry we left there still feeling hungry 😅😅

When I went to eat for the first time, I felt fine. I went to eat for the second time this time. I really can't. It tastes terrible! Wonton Noodles smells like soda, and the chicken is very dry.The drink I ordered was 7up, but it was not 7up.During the period, the staff came to put things away and asked about drinks, but they didn't respond to us.I have eaten the worst Wonton Noodles ever, and there is no next time.Even a few friends who went together gave feedback that it was not delicious.🙂

It's my quick lunch, value for money, place for chicken rice. The chicken curry with roti is pretty good, too. The service is a little impersonal and could improve on it because in today's environment, the customer is king.

Got their chicken rice combo with a pandan drink for 14.8RM. Chicken was flavorful and tender. Drink was too sweet for me. Would visit again

It’s been many many years I didn’t patronage this restaurant which I used to like the grilled butter chicken, but it’s out of my list after the price went up too much yet it’s just a very normal restaurant in terms of of service and ambience and the dishes served.
I decided to dine again just to get back some fond memories I had more than 10 years ago with a bunch of old friends.
Initially I ordered an ala cart grilled butter chicken but when it was served, it’s only the chicken, without the rice!
This was insane as chicken rice shall always be served with a rice! So u need to top up 22.90+ 3.80 + taxes to add the rice.
I asked to change to the combo set which was 25.90 + taxes to include the rice, veggies and terrible soup.
I will not support this chain restaurants again for sure as it’s too pricey for what they could serve and offer. For the same price, I could easily get a chicken steak in much bigger size with drinks in the malls.
