This bakery is a hidden gem opened by a Japanese. The melon bread, cheese cake and bread is of high standard. The bread price is quite affordable and the bakers are friendly. I can sense the bakers used good butter & flour for the pastries. If you are looking for a quick snack this bakery is a good stop. They have a nice selection of baked goods. The service is very fast and it has a casual mall atmosphere. I am a happy customer and I will definitely return again.

Small french bakery store in lala port. The selection is not that many, but we can see that all products area made by care. All bread that we bought are good. The dough is soft. Price is moderate. They oddly separate the transaction for regular bread with mini selection of croissant, cheese cake, etc. Located in LG, just beside the escalator to parking lot. Recommended

Great french pastries at good prices. Everything we tried was delicious. It was unexpected to find such authentic and well made french pastries in the heart of Kuala Lumpur! They use fresh, high quality ingredients, that I could taste from the first bite. At some point, they even had Kouign Amann, a local french speciality, from Bretagne. It was delicious and flawless! Chapeau!

Tried the top 3 best sellers — shio pan, cheese bread, and cream cheese brioche. My favorite would be the shio pan! So delicious, buttery and soft 🥐🤩😋. Recommended to eat it immediately after you buy when it’s still very slightly warm! The cheese bread was very average, and the cream cheese brioche could do with a lot more filling of the cream cheese, cause I’m greedy like that 😆😋😙. They also sell those tiny cheesecakes and chocolate mochis in bite sized pieces, very tasty and cute if you’re looking for a snack to munch on! 🥰👍

Tucked away on the lower ground floor of Lalaport, this Japanese bakery is a hidden gem. After trying a sample, I instantly loved the taste. My favorite is the Mentaiko France, a French bread with mentaiko filling. The basic salt and butter bread is also delicious. If you're unsure what to pick, they have a list of their most popular items, so you can't go wrong.

Was so happy to find out it's opened here in KL. Always have it whenever I'm in Singapore. Went there today to pick it up. 1st bite, sooooooooooooooooooooo very disappointed. No where near Singapore's mochi. Sooooo hard, if i throw it at a cat, I think I'll give it a concussion. If you can't maintain the taste of the franchise, better don't sell it at all.

I’ve always loved your French bread — it’s easily the best in Malaysia. That’s why I was a bit disappointed to notice a recent drop in quality. I truly hope this isn’t a sign of cutting corners, because your bread has always stood out for its taste and authenticity. I’m still a loyal customer, and I really hope to see the original quality return soon!

Donq Bakery at Lalaport is an absolute gem! I keep coming back for their perfectly baked shio pan—crispy on the outside, soft and buttery inside. And don’t miss the mini mochi from Mini One—chewy, lightly sweet, and so addictive. Consistently good quality and always a treat. Highly recommended!

So glad my wife and I discovered this Japanese bakery. We have patronized many times and tried the various types of bread, buns and pastries... they were delicious. The ingredients were top grade and baked to perfection. We preferred the Japanese style pastries as they are softer and have finer textures. IMHO, this is one of the better bakeries in town and how wonderful that we now don't need to travel to Japan to enjoy such treats.
