I had an excellent customer experience here! Went searching for a sports mp3 player and was attended to by Nadh. She was cordial, patient and accommodating. Furthermore, she helped with my membership registration, in which I got an additional RM30 off voucher. Will definitely come here again.

I rarely write reviews on Google, but this situation forced me... so I came here to repair my lens mount which was still under warranty, but they said it wasn't covered by warranty, after knowing which part was damaged which was just the plastic retainer on the screw, the cost to repair was more expensive than the price of the lens, so I decided not to continue with the repair, what I regretted was that I had to pay RM50 just for their technician to unscrew the screw on the lens mount which I could have done it myself.. what I regretted even more after they returned it to me, I found that they had lost my lens cap, and one of the staff told me, they would contact me again if their technician found it, and guess what? almost 1month have passed and I'm still waiting... until I had to order the fake one it myself on shopee 🤣 ... lastly, I'm a big user of Sony camera products and a fan of Sony products, but I'm a little disappointed with this Sony store experience... I also bought my first camera here before, yeah just like other people reviewed, they look down on people, and only judge someone on their appearance, hopefully in the future and beyond it will be better...

2/1/25: Came here to repair my earbuds, only to find out that the service center opens at 10am, and not 11am. 😳 Service is friendly and fast during the check-in of the earbuds. Let's hope the whole process will be painless. I'll keep you guys posted throughout its progress.

I rarely write reviews on here but this place really tested out my patience. Anyways, I went in to buy a pair of the newly released XM6 and was pretty excited to get them by the way. Anyways when I stepped foot into the store I asked about the XM6s and one of the staff helped me out by providing one of their floor models to listen to. After having a listen to it, I started asking a few questions bout it to the staff and was all good. When I had further questions bout the headphones he told me “I have to serve/answer questions for another customer”. This is all fine and all for me but the least I expect or deserve is another staff approaching me and asking if I’m looking out for something. Some of the staff just walked passed me and didn’t even say a word to me, which goes for the other staff I mentioned who had to answer the doubts for this girl and worst part was she wasn’t even buying a damn product. Ngl y’all low-key pissed me off and I really just wanted to head off to another outlet but it was pretty late at night and I just wanted to get it done. Pissed off, I walked over to another staff and said “I’ve been standing here for long enough and no one has approached me” and that’s when one of the staff finally assisted me and I made my purchase. Honestly one of the worst places to buy any Sony-related product only cause of their staff and their customer experience. In any other case, their store is quite nice and they have a wide variety of products on display

Brought a pair of Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds to fix three times!!! With the exact same problem every time. They've barely been used too. I paid almost RM800 "repairing" them. Useless servicing. Earbuds can't even connect to any device anymore. Won't be buying earbuds from Sony ever again.

I was just walking around in here. Was mesmerized by the PS5 and gaming PC. It looks really nice. The store is huge and very inviting. The staff is also very nice. The OLED TV looks beautiful. I think it is already on my shopping list. Really recommend this store. Will come again.

The experience is bad. The employee is like untrained. Faiss? I dont remember the name. Asking about TVs, he does not know a thing. Not enough staff to cover all zoning. Plus, he has to void the receipt just because he forgot to key in my discount code. Luckily, I rechecked n asked. The demo earbuds has ear wax and not cleaned. Euww please clean your demo items.

I went to this store yesterday, and I would like to comment a little about this Sony product, so far only Sony has good products regarding the sound of the speakers... regarding other things too I am grateful and really like the staff there, all of them are very kind and friendly😘 …

I purposely came here to ask for the earbuds replacement, even though they are Sony Store, but they just act as the collection point and asked me to call the 3rd party Servise center for the quote. The best thing is the 3rd party don't even bother to answer my call for 6 trial. I believe Sony really need to look at after sales services and make it more friendly. For me I will not choose Sony product anymore. #Sony

March 3, 2025 – Went to the Sony Store at Lalaport to buy a PS5. When we walked in, no staff approached us at first. A few employees were just sitting at the cashier counter, and we were the only customers in the store. As we walked around looking at the PS5, a staff member finally came over to assist us. We asked him a few questions and told him which one we wanted. He went to check the stock and brought it out. When we were about to pay, my boyfriend told the staff that we wanted to use "Atome." The moment he said that, the staff's expression completely changed—they looked sulky and rude. It wasn’t that we couldn’t afford to pay; we just wanted to try using Atome because there were extra discounts on the app. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to complete the transaction through Atome. Then, one of the staff at the counter angrily asked, "Are you done?!" When my boyfriend said he couldn’t use Atome, they gave us judgmental looks. Even when I said, "It’s okay, we’ll use a card instead," their attitude didn’t change until the transaction was completed. Mind you, this isn’t our first time shopping at a Sony Store. We’ve been to many Sony outlets before, and their staff have always been friendly and helpful. But this experience was the worst! Treat your customers with respect, even if they’re not buying anything.
