This will be my first and last time coming here to eat
The order was taken in a so unprofessional way (typing one by one on the phone). We waited for our food for 30mins until I asked the waiter about our order. Even the group that came after us got their order and they ordered the exact food as ours. The waiter came back and told us they're still cooking ours, and after I asked about it only the waiter start to put the fork and knives, etc. should've put it from the start. And then the waiter come with our drinks and just put it on the table and just left without saying anything, even no coaster at all. I had to ask for a coaster when the other drinks arrived along with the coasters. Afterwards, one of the staff came to our table asking where is the list of order and we were so confused because there is none on our table, then she finally print the receipt/list and put it on our table. The food was so-so, portion is acceptable. Please train your staff about proper customer service etiquettes.

I made my reservation for the tgcf cafe on a Sunday at 2pm but only got seated after 40 mins? What’s the point of making a reservation then? The cafe designs were nice but honestly a-bit underwhelming. Food was not that nice. I was especially pissed off that the staff never mentioned that we will not be getting our coasters because of the shipment delay when I ordered my food and can only come back to the store to collect after cny. Not only that, the whole tgcf store merch was delayed. Not everyone has the time to come back just to collect that. Such poor management. I realise they were also abit understaffed and some of them seem to be unhappy like they don’t want to work there, kind of ruins the mood tbh.Events held in Malaysia is always a disappointment compared to other countries. Will definitely not be coming back here in the future.

The food is pretty delicious, but a little pricey. We ordered the squid spaghetti, hawaian pizza and bun. The fruit tea is refreshing too. The environment is clean and the waiters are friendly and hardworking.

I was here for the TGCF cafe. Food was good, deco was mid but a good start. Unhappy merch is via PO only on the date i was there but its not cafe fault. Overall, as long food good im happy.

As per I know, Malaysia only have 2 of this anime theme cafe, another was Acolab, so is SSR level. And I'm those kind of otaku who don't spends much on merchs other than t-shirt or mousepad, so food based merchs really suit me. I remember 10years ago KL had DC theme cafe, but closed down long time ago, so I really love this kind of theme cafe.
✅The things I like was the character stands, given a dating with those anime character feel, hope they continue with this idea for next themes.
❌To be improve are:
1. More variety of dishes, maybe some snacks or mocktail drinks. Because most anime lovers are students, so would be thankful if considering the price.
2. Put a description of the ingredients of each dishes, or maybe state the spiciness level or type of meat used in icon form would be great. My sister always asked these 2 things before they decides to drive 1-2 hr to kl to try.
3. Maybe consider qr scan ordering, good for I person like me, also can check the current cost before confirm order.
Food taste is acceptable, 3-4 ⭐ no drama.

Revisited the place to try different menu. Staff is very friendly and nice, there's not a lot of people so the atmosphere is nice too. I was planning to get the Deku matcha, but I didn't realize they launched a new menu already.
Food is great and service is fast! Overall a good experience.

So, here’s my take!
As someone working full-time, I find the price pretty affordable, considering we’re paying for the vibe along with the themed meals. I missed the TGCF event, but this visit totally made up for it!
✨ Note
The cafe is currently in the second phase of the menu, featuring: All Might, Dabi, Endeavour, Hawks, Shigaraki, and Toga!
✨ My fav highlights
- The theme overall, it screams BNHA even from metres away. You’ll feel it before you even enter.
- The dessert looked exactly like the one in the menu and tasted just as good.
- Somehow ended up with the iconic trio all for one table… wasn’t on my 2025 bingo card 😂
✨ Room for improvement
It would be nice to have dietary restriction/spicy level indicators on the menu for shy diners. But shoutout to the staff, they really know their menu and even offered helpful alternatives without even being asked!
✨ Tips before visiting
Portions range from medium to large, so come with an empty stomach if you’re planning a full meal (including dessert). Or take a short walk before heading to G Floor to make space 😅
All in all, it’s a great place to start if you’re new to themed cafés. Looking forward to the future event!
(psst, please let me know if there’s a Haikyuu or HoYo collab coming, i’ll just book my flight right away 👀)

A Must-Visit for Anime Lovers and Foodies Alike!
Visited Doko Koko with my wife and daughter who are both huge anime fans—and I must say, it did not disappoint! The entire restaurant is beautifully themed, creating a fun and immersive anime dining experience that we all enjoyed.
We had lunch there, and the food was delicious. The menu offers a good variety of choices, and the pricing is very reasonable considering the quality and themed setting. From the presentation to the taste, everything exceeded our expectations.
Whether you're an anime enthusiast or just looking for a unique and enjoyable place to dine, Doko Koko is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back again for sure!

My friend and I went there for lunch because its menu was something we were interested in, not so much the decorations or the theme. And it was close to us after going through Immersify. Although, we know about the particular anime it was hosting this time round. We ordered the Japanese curry rice. My friend ordered their prawn version while I ordered their beef patty version. We also ordered mushroom soup and beef cheesy fries.
Er, personally would not recommend their beef patty version. The beef patty was dryish and the rice and curry was nothing to shout about. Honestly you're mostly paying for ok food and the atmosphere (to be surrounded by anime things and the opportunity to sit next to an anime cutout I think; around 2 to 3 tables had the cutout right next to them and you get to watch clips of the anime they are hosting. For us, it was BNHA). The cheeky beef fried was .... well, the cheese was hardened by the time it arrived at the table and it made it quite difficult to eat in terms of texture and the chewiness of the beef bacon DID NOT help either. Overall, the mushroom soup was my favourite. Their special drinks based on anime characters were alright as well but slightly expensive.
Would probably go again to try out other items in their menu and to go see the next anime they would be hosting. I THINK they're hosting BNHA till July or August but honestly cannot remember.

My Hero Academia themed cafe till July 2025. Themed foods and experience. The food is very tasty and there are many cardboard cutouts of the characters.

The food and drinks here are absolutely delicious! I didn’t expect much since it’s an anime-themed café, and these places often focus more on the vibe than the food quality. However, this café exceeded all my expectations! The staff are friendly, the food presentation is beautiful, and the taste of both the food and beverages is amazing. The café’s décor perfectly captures the anime theme, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. I’d love to explore every theme they showcase because it’s truly satisfying!

For those who's wondering where exactly it is, it's at Ground Floor G-20a, G-20b of LALAPORT KL. I went on December and the theme of the month is my favorite VTUBER NIJINSANJI EN!!!! They decorated the restaurant well. You'll really immersed yourself in the cafe if you're fans of them! Food was superb too! Nicely plated and creative. There's also a merchandise store right beside the cafe. Oh btw, if you think the special menu for the theme of the month isn't your taste, you may also order other food from the menu of the cafe. There's plenty of choice of food over here
