Chinese New Year 2023. We could see these colourful steps from our hotel so came to investigate. The steps are one entrance into the newly developed Mitsui LaLaport mall. The area was once the site of the Pudu prison, now demolished, but the main gateway is preserved. The groundbreaking ceremony was June 2017. The area is now known as Bukit Bintang City Centre.
